Roof Window Installations

Ahead Loft Ladders fit Velux windows, one of the market leads of roof windows. Velux windows can be fitted into most roof and tile configurations and in most situations do not need planing permission. There are exceptions when it comes to grade listed houses, which will need to be enquired about and may need planning permission. We will be able to help. However, most homes will not apply when it comes to planning permission for roof window installations. Velux come in a range of wood (pine) White Painted and Polyurethane frames, all Velux windows look the same on the outside (grey).

Velux windows come with variations of:

  • Wood (Pine) frames
  • Wood (White Painted) frames
  • Polyurethane frames

These frames also come with lots of different types of glass which can include Solar reflective and triple glazed.

These Velux windows also can be electrically operated with a remote, whilst being powered by Solar energy. The Solar power is needed if you can not get a power cables to the window.

All velux windows come with a 10 year manufactures warranty and can be installed within a morning.
